Andrea Stone is an artist and arts advocate. She taught art for 26 years, retired from
education and now enjoys her affiliation in the Carrollton community as an artist and
arts advocate. She currently enjoys painting and ceramics and being actively affiliated
with the arts for The Center for the Arts Commission board, the Arts Festival, and AIA.

She and her husband have promoted the arts through starting “Art Takeover” in
Carrollton, and their affiliations with the university and their church ministry. She is
president of the Fine Arts Team at her church. Andrea is currently the marketing
director at Milestone Investment Management.

“I enjoy painting, drawing, pastels and ceramics, but my favorite medium is watercolors.
This is how I began with paint and what I find to be transparently beautiful.”
